District Open Shoot – 2019/04

The Target Sports ASU are running an “Open Shoot” session which any Scout, Explorer or Young Leader can participate in. The idea behind the sessions are to give young people in the district the opportunity to have a taster of the activity. If interested they can attend the shoot regularly and train for the upcoming District and County Shooting competitions. Participation will count towards the Master at Arms badge. MW Shooting Squad 2019/04

Only open to Mersey Weaver Scouts and Explorers who are invited by the District Shooting to be members of the Mersey Weaver Shooting Squad. Mersey Weaver Shooting Squad training session. Training will involve shooting air rifle at 6yds, and  later air rifle at 10m air and pistol at 6yds. The session will also involve shooting a number of targets as part of intra-squad members ladder. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes/trainers (no footwear which provides ankle support)

Bring along family and friends, the wider Scouting community, neighbours and work colleagues. Beaver Leaders Programme Ideas & Afternoon Tea

Join us for a great afternoon with Beaver Leaders from across the District sharing ideas and having fun! Please bring with you an unusual programme idea to show/tell/demonstrate that can contribute to a badge. We would also be grateful if you could bring a food item to share for our afternoon tea (cakes/finger sandwiches etc).  Tea and Coffee will be provided. If the weather is nice we hope to be outside so dress appropriately.

Waterloo Shooting Competition 2019

Booking via this site is only open to members of the MW Shooting Squad. A shooting competition open to all Scouts, Explorers, Young Leaders, Network Members and Leaders being run by South What Cheshire Scouts. It is run in an informal and friendly way. 25th Anniversary of the Hideaway and Adults Awards Ceremony

The event will be a fairly relaxed afternoon with an awards presentation, Hog Roast, Croquet and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful campsite with Scouting friends.
