Mersey Weaver Cubs will be challenge the Norse Gods at Tatton Park as they travel the Nine Realms via the ‘Rainbow Bridge’, ‘The World Tree’ and sail the ‘Aigars Sea’ with many more adventures on both land and water! Cub Chief Scout Silver Awards

This is the highest award you can get in Cubs. It shows that you have done your very best and made the most of your time in Cubs. In celebration of your huge achievement we are holding an awards ceremony for all the Cubs in the District at the Heath Conference Centre. District Cub Sixer Camp 2018

This camp is for Cub Sixers who are ready to move up to Scouts.  It provides training for skills used in Scouts and is a great weekend to mix with Sixers from other groups in the District. Activities & Skills It will be an action packed weekend full of activities such as: Firelighting, Backwoods Cooking, Patrol Cooking, Shelter building, Putting up a Patrol Tent, First Aid, Pioneering and more! District Cub Quiz

Ready to test your intellectual brain power? Why not participate in the District Cub Quiz? Who Should Attend? This year’s quiz will take on a new look and has been extended to all Cubs of any age and packs can enter as many teams as they like. Cost Each team of 6 will cost £5 and receive refreshments and a certificate for entering the competition. Should we have an influx of teams, the entry fee will be reduced/part refunded.

District Cub Blackpool Trip

Cubs from the Mersey Weaver District are invited to attend the amazing annual day trip to Blackpool! Sealife Centre Madame Tussauds Blackpool Circus Jungle Jim’s Play Barn Transport Included in the cost is transport by Coach. What to wear/bring Please wear Cub uniform with comfortable shoes. Cubs will require a packed lunch as well as a coat. An evening meal is included  at Harry Ramsdens.

District Open Shoot Session – Cubs Only 2019/01

The Target Sports ASU are running an “Open Shoot” session which any Cub Scout can participate in. The idea behind the sessions are to give young people in the district the opportunity to have a taster of the activity. If interested they can attend the shoot regularly and train for the upcoming District and County Shooting competitions. This year we are holding a Camp Competition for teams of four Cub Sixers or Seconders who are ready to move up to Scouts.
